So I got the urge to draw my tarot cards, starting with this one. I love Pamela Colman Smith’s art and I was told if you want to get better to copy artists you like to practice. This is card number 21 – The World. The glyph at the top is the symbol for Saturn, which is the ruling planet of this card.
Well I wanted to draw this because I have a necklace like it so here it is! I like it and it was fun and simple to draw.
I am not totally happy with this but I am still proud of parts of it. I think it looks weird to me because it’s a mans top and a womans bottom. This was unintentional….but here it is for your viewing pleasure!
Just trying new things and this reminded me of winter and magic so here it is!
This is another thing I am pretty okay with. It’s just a cup but I drew it from a mug on my desk and I think it helped me start to understand shadows which is helpful.
